About Us
Our Origins
We started as a group of high schoolers unhappy with the education the public education system was providing in this ever-developing field of technology. We wanted to make a change in what was taught, and the only way to do that was to start a movement.
Through multiple camps, we have educated 150+ students, teaching them valuable lessons in coding, and handing out hundreds of dollars of prizes.
The Mini Makers Team
Our people are what make us unique. Our teachers go through extensive training, and they are hired from already proficient coding backgrounds to begin with. Additionally, all the teachers are recognized as gifted students themselves.
The Mini Makers Executive team, as seen below, is entirely comprised of high school students who are currently enrolled at the Academies of Loudoun. These students found their common ground in coding, and they wish to help other people achieve the same through the program.
